When children need a test at the neurology department it can be helpful for parents and children to see what is going to happen. Our videos show step by step what happens during an EEG, nerve conduction test and CT or MRI scan. We also made videos with ideas for pretend play to help younger children play their teddy is having an EEG, MRI or CT. Children who are prepared for a hospital procedure feel less anxious, more in control and are better able to complete the tests.
