What happens when my child has a Pulmonary Function (Breathing) Test?
This video shows what it's like to have a Pulmonary Function (Breathing) Test in hospital. Having to wear nose pegs and going into a big glass box with the door closed can make children anxious, so looking at the tests before you go to hospital can help children and parents prepare. Parents could show this video to their child shorty before their appointment to help them understand what is going to happen in hospital. This video was developed in partnership with the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh.
