Play to prepare children for MRI

This video shows how you could talk to your child about having an MRI scan (Magnetic Resonance Imaging). Mum and Sophie are having fun playing pretend hospital. They make lots of noise just like the MRI machine and talk about how you have to lie still for your scan. This video with pretend hospital play is aimed at younger children and those at an early stage of development. This video was developed in partnership with the play specialists team of the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.
