What happens when my child has an X-ray?
This video shows what happens when your child needs to have an X-ray to look at their chest or bones. Not knowing what is going to happen can make children anxious. This video shows the X-ray machine and the special coat or other protection parents and children might have to wear. This video will help families prepare for an X-ray.
Parents could show this video to their child before their appointment.
