Report on Professional survey shows 94% healthcare and education professionals would find videos very helpful
Feedback from professionals across Scotland shows they think using videos to help parents prepare their child for hospital is an excellent idea. Most professionals reply hospital procedures like MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, General Anaesthetics, taking a blood sample should be shown in a video suitable for parents and children.

We have filmed a parent, child, nurse, health play specialist and hospital psychologist talking about how to prepare a child for hospital. They also discuss the support available in hospital when your child is anxious about a procedure.

Parent survey report - Parents would like video clips to help prepare for hospital
Feedback from parent shows that more than half of the children who went to hospital were anxious about their visit. 59% of parents of children with learning disabilities and 91% of children without learning disabilities thought video clips would help them prepare their child and help them be less anxious about going to hospital.
